Happy Friday friends!
This past weekend, we went to Oregon for a quick visit and had a wonderful time. One of the nice parts about being in Tahoe is that Portland is only a short hour flight away so it makes it easy to go see Cam's family for a long weekend. The reason for this particular visit was two-fold--1. To celebrate Cameron's 26th birthday and 2. To see our new niece and nephew! Two of my sister-in-laws recently had babies and it was so great to be able to meet these new members of our family for the first time. We ate lots of good food, visited two pumpkin patches, and just enjoyed the time of everyone being together...all in all, a fabulous fall weekend! Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip:
| Cam and his parents on the morning of his birthday...this was the first time he had been home for his birthday in seven years! |
| We spent the day in Portland and had breakfast at the popular spot, Pine State Biscuits...note the requisite hipsters congregating out front. I'd highly recommend it if you're in Portland! |

| The pumpkin patch requires lots of photos... |
| Cam taking a walk on the nature trail |
| For the second half of the day, we went to a different pumpkin patch and they had these really intense pumpkin cannons...it was amazing how far they could launch the pumpkins! |
| Miss Meara and I riding the firetruck |
| Holding baby Selah, she did so well considering she was less than a week old! |
| Meara and Grandpa |

| Ha. |
| We took a hay ride out to pick pumpkins at sunset and it was so beautiful! |

| Love. |

| Gorgeous sunset |
| I don't know how Cam got one pumpkin and I got both girls! |
| Love these two...and glad I've been working out so I could actually lift them! |
| Hay ride! |
| Thought bubble over Cam's head: We are waiting another three years to have a kid...ha! |
| Such troopers for spending the day at the pumpkin patch with a brand-new baby! |
| This is the closest I could get to everyone looking at the camera... |
| The whole family squeezed in for a picture...love this :) |
| This is my favorite picture from the trip...Alexa cracks me up :) |
| Grandparents, new babies, and the wiggleworms |
It was so much fun to spend time with our nieces who are growing like weeds as well as seeing the sweet new babies, and we're looking forward to making another visit to Oregon next month. Have a great weekend everyone!
